Others may get a tattoo to mark a milestone in their life. Still others may get a tattoo to beautify their body.

If you are thinking about getting a tattoo it is important to realize that there is a very real chance that you could get hepatitis B or C or another infection from an unsafe tattoo if safety practices are not followed very carefully.

This section of our website was created to promote safer tattooing. We welcome any advice and feedback to make this section as helpful and useful as possible.
